readit-readit.com

Readit-readit.com is a MERN stack project designed for readers to track their reading history and discover new books. Users can compare book lists, see shared books with others, and view matched profiles. They can create and manage wishlists and completed book lists with data from the Open Library API, which include cumulative totals and detailed book pages. The site allows book ratings and reviews, accessible from book details or user profiles. Additionally, it integrates SMTP for registration verification and supports cloud storage for profile pictures.

National Park Database

National Park Database was originally a collaborative React web app developed by a four-person team as the culmination of a Hacker Reactor coding program. It empowers users to plan multiple national park visits, explore parks by state, wishlist their favorite destinations, and share experiences through reviews and ratings. I refactored the previous project from a FastAPI backend to a MERN stack, then deployed the frontend on Netlify and the backend on Render.

Rick and Morty Universe

This React-based project showcases characters and locations from the TV show 'Rick and Morty.' Leveraging state management and a third-party API, the app allows fans to explore the rich content. To enhance user experience, I implemented a search bar with dynamic filtering options, allowing users to easily find characters based on specific parameters. Its responsive design, powered by flex and CSS, guarantees seamless viewing across different devices.
